Opened in September, 2023, Bard High School Early College Bronx is a partnership between Bard College and New York City Public Schools. This innovative public high school will offer young people in the South Bronx a set of extraordinary opportunities, including: 1. Enabling students to graduate from high school with 60 transferable, Bard College credits and a Bard College AA degree, entirely free of cost to students and their families. 2. A core curriculum in the biomedical sciences and the liberal arts. 3. Extensive guidance in postsecondary options and credit transfer. 4. Internships and applied learning opportunities, particularly in the biomedical sciences. 5. Robust student support structures that attend to students academic, social, and developmental needs.
