About
Welcome to Renaissance High School for Musical Theater and the Arts (RHS), a vibrant community dedicated to fostering "Voice. Choice. Identity." Serving grades 9-12, RHS embraces a student-centered culture prioritizing critical thinking, active participation, and personal growth. Our mission is to build meaningful learning partnerships, empowering all students through a rigorous academic experience with high standards and culturally relevant curriculum. We believe in productive struggle, providing emotional and instructional support to help you become independent thinkers. You'll engage in deeper learning, applying, analyzing, evaluating, and creating, not just remembering. As an arts school, you can choose from visual, vocal, theater, or instrumental disciplines, progressing from beginner to advanced levels. Your physical and emotional safety are paramount. We offer robust social-emotional and mental health supports, with dedicated counselors and social workers. Our Peer Group Connection program eases freshmen's transition by connecting them with caring upperclassmen. Student voice is central; you'll contribute in teacher team meetings, focus groups, and community events. We emphasize open communication to address any issues and ensure a supportive environment. Join RHS to thrive in an environment where your unique talents are celebrated, your voice is heard, and you are supported to reach your highest potential
