At the BHSMS our focus is to graduate well-rounded students who have a passion to work in the medical field. We provide opportunities for our students to learn about the multitude of careers in the field as well as hands on experience through our Future Ready program.

About the School

The Bronx High School for Medical Science is a well established, highly successful 6-12 school located in the heart of the Bronx. Our school offers a small, academically challenging high school experience to students who wish to enter the fields of medical science, health or research. Science and mathematics is embedded into all curricular areas across grades and subjects. Students have the opportunity to attend field trips for both academic purposes and enrichment. The mission of our school is to graduate students who want to learn and lead in the science professions.
