Dreamyard Prep (DYP) provides rigorous academic and arts focused curricula that emphasize problem solving and critical thinking while deepening students understanding of all subjects. In 9th grade & 10th grade, students get the opportunity to choose an arts elective class each semester, which includes a rotation based on preference of visual art, dance, vocal music, and theater. DYP also uses Restorative Justice practices to address social-emotional needs and mediation circles to address conflict which fosters a caring and safe school community. Our school is a FutureReadyNYC school offering career exploration and preparation for work based learning in Teaching & Education.
