About

North Queens Community High School (NQCHS) is a small transfer school committed to helping students who have fallen behind their peers a second chance at college and career. Our dedicated staff creates a nurturing learning environment, student-centered learning, and personalized learning plans to help students earn their high school diplomas. Students engage in college and career exploration through paid internships, college advisement and trips, and career inventory surveys and workshops to support them with their post-secondary plans. We offer small classes, a supportive environment, school-based internships, clubs, and individualized attention to achieve your academic and career goals. Through our partnerships with SCO, we provide advocate counselors to support students in developing the habits of mind, work, and heart to be successful now and in the future.
