About

Our school is a FutureReadyNYC school offering the best of college and career exploration and preparation in Healthcare -one of the fastest growing and highest paid industries in our city. We’ll prepare you for work in any field, not just healthcare, by providing internships for all of our 11th graders in areas of interest. We offer English Language Learners who are new to the country an opportunity to develop skills necessary to pursue college and careers in healthcare. Classes focus on reading, writing, and communicating in English while also providing opportunities to maintain students' native languages. We give our students experiences in local healthcare settings before they graduate. Students gain practical skills including CPR and first aid, explore careers through 11th grade internships at local medical centers, and take early college coursework with our university partners. These hands-on opportunities both provide a context for language acquisition and allow students to use their native language as an asset in their service to the community.
