About

West Bronx Academy is an urban community committed to accelerating student learning in a supportive environment with a focus on critical thinking. High school courses are offered to students in the eighth grade and college-level courses are offered to high school students. Through the use of restorative practices, all members of the school community share the responsibility of building and sustaining a positive school environment. We offer exploratory field trips throughout NYC and beyond, we partner with community organizations to bridge the gap between school and community.
