About

The School of the Future is a student-centered and challenging school with the goal of preparing all graduates to enter the college or profession of their choice. Our students learn to think critically and solve problems in a supportive environment. We challenge our students to exceed the expectations set by the New York State Board of Regents by preparing them for research-based exhibition presentations in order to graduate.

Requirement:
Students are admitted based on a school-based assessment, and in some cases also their course grades.
Priority:
  • (Group 1) Continuing 8th graders
  • (Group 2) New York City residents
DIA Admissions:
  • Applicants eligible for free or reduced price lunch will be considered first for 66% of seats.
  • For the remaining 34% of seats, all students will be considered.
