Bronx Aerospace High School (X30A)
Engineering

Qualifying students will be admitted into our Aviation Program. Accepted students will learn about the engineering and aerodynamics behind flying aircrafts. Students will attend Vaughn College for Aeronautics to complete Ground School and earn college credits while preparing to pass the FAA Written Exam. Students will have access to the FMX REDBIRD Flight Simulator to begin flight training in addition to logging flight hours that can be applied towards their Private Pilot's License.

Bronx Aerospace High School has a dynamic CTE pre-engineering program that brings the chancellor’s vision of career-connected learning to life. We put students on a pathway to long-term economic security by giving students a head start on both college and career. Highlights of Our Engineering Program Include: Robust Course Sequence (Introduction to Engineering, Principles of Engineering, AP Computer Science Principles, Career and Finance Management);Paid Work-Based Learning; CTE Internships - up to $2250;SOBRO: Summer Youth Program - up to $2250;Summer Engineering Course: up to $1200;Workplace Challenges - up to $1000;Learning Stipends - up to $1000 This program prepares students to continue at a college, university, or select training programs/specialized schools.
