Bronx Engineering & Technology Academy (BETA) (X61X)
Engineering

BETA's New York State certified CTE architectural engineering program. Engineering and technology is used as a lens through which everyday problems are analyzed, approached, and solved. Students are required to complete four years of math, science, and technology. Students are required to earn a 75 or higher on the English Regents and a 70 or higher on the Math Regents.

Requirement:
Ed. Opt. programs admit students across all academic levels. Students are grouped into Low, Middle, and High categories based on a composite of their academic data. One-third of offers are made to students in each category.
Priority:
  • (Group 1) Priority to Bronx students or residents
  • (Group 2) Then to New York City residents

Bronx Engineering and Technology Academy is a nurturing and challenging learning environment that supports students' ability to think critically, creatively, and collaboratively both inside and outside the engineering and technology fields.
