At August Martin High School, where dreams take flight, scholars learn through engaging inquiry, problem-solving, performance-based instruction, and assessment. Our interdisciplinary focus allows our scholars to be college and career ready. Our students engage in authentic interdisciplinary learning experiences which prepare them for all their future academic endeavors. The Culinary and Aviation Career pathways provide academic and technical preparation for pursuing high-demand and high-skill careers in related and growing industries. It is our mission to graduate lifelong learners who will be change agents within their communities, chosen professions, and the world.

Academic Highlights: Communication Arts Academy offers Career Development and Arts Administration Workshops, Internships, and Summer College Bridge Program, FutureReadyNYC: Technology (Software Developer), Individualized learning environment that promotes a loving, scholar centered environment that teachers leadership through academics., Advanced courses in Culinary Arts allow students an opportunity to serve in internships and graduate with licensing in food service., Advanced courses in aviation allow students to sit for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) exams toward the Private Pilot License., Beginner, intermediate, and advanced ELL services. Students can integrate into all general education courses.
