About
"Where students enter to learn and leave to succeed." Located in the heart of Flatbush, the Academy for College Preparation and Career Exploration is a 6-12 Community School where high school students build strong academic foundations and launch exciting futures. Known as the crown jewel of Flatbush, we prepare students for success in college, career, and life. Students choose from career-connected learning pathways in Art, Civics, STEM, Business Entrepreneurship, the NYS Seal of Civic Readiness, and CDOS Credentialing. These options include hands-on learning, field trips, and real-world experiences that help students explore their passions and expand their possibilities. We offer a rigorous college-prep curriculum alongside paid internships. Students can earn industry credentials, college credits, and invaluable work experience--all before graduation. Our 1:1 technology model ensures every student has a laptop. We're equipped with a STEAM Lab, Mac Lab, and Smart Boards in every classroom. As a full-service Community School, we support students and families with a free on-site health center (vision, dental, medical, and mental health care). Graduates go on to top colleges like MIT, Boston College, Columbia, NYU, Northeastern, Howard, and CUNY/SUNY schools, earning over $1 million in scholarships annually. Explore your future with us--where opportunity and excellence meet.
