At McKinneySSA we work together as a TEAM to make sure that you LEARN. High School is not just about the abc's and 123's, it is also about discovering who you are and who you want to BE!! We focus on the holistic development of each young person; Teacher teams work with small groups of students to meet their learning needs. Social-emotional wellness is fostered through weekly restorative circles and through utilization of our Zen and Recreation rooms. Our fully equipped Fitness Room encourages lifelong habits of health and self-care. McKinneySSA offers a rigorous academic program, including Advanced Placement courses, and world-class visual and performing arts instruction. Our small learning community includes art, dance and music recording studios, a Black Box Theater, and a modern 500 seat auditorium. Our 1:1 laptop program and state-of-the-art digital design lab with 3D printers empower students to develop 21st-century skills through hands-on learning, creativity, and innovative problem solving. Through a curriculum centered on making sense and figuring things out as well as elective opportunities to explore your talents, McKinneySSA works together to ensure high-level learning for ALL!!
