About

East Bronx Academy for the Future is a small school for students in grades 6 -12. Our students learn the content and skills required by the New York State Board of Regents combined with project-based learning and a focus on using technology in the classroom. Our small size allows our staff to get to know each and every student and family very well, which is even more the case for families that are with us for all seven years! Students at EBA learn in small classes, using computers and completing hands-on projects. Accelerated students take college courses in partnership with Lehman College as well Advanced Placement courses. Students also have access to Computer Science class throughout their time at EBA! East Bronx Academy students graduate from high school ready for college and the world of work!

The East Bronx Academy for the Future arts program strives to foster creativity in every student and promote a life-long appreciation for the visual arts, music and dance. Our program encourages individual thought, decision making, creative problem-solving, innovation, personal expression, and collaboration. Students create, present, and respond to works of art, musical styles and dance and learn how artistic ideas and artworks connect with society, culture, and history. Students have numerous opportunities through out the year to develop their craft. We have new materials thanks to the arts fund and we will add more activities as well as a new music studio with recording equipment. Our school is pro arts and our administration is a big believer that the arts add a priceless element to our school curriculum.
