About

Welcome to Manhattan Bridges High School, a top-performing New York City public high school with over 20 years of excellence. Our mission is to prepare students for college, careers, and life through three key areas: 1. College and Career Readiness 2. Bilingualism in English and Spanish, and 3. Celebration of Latino Culture. Students who already know English focus on strengthening their Spanish, while students who are newer to the country focus on learning English. A majority of staff are fully bilingual. We offer two pathways for career preparation: first, our New York State-approved Career and Technical Education (CTE) program, the Academy of Engineering, and second, the Academy of Computer Science. These programs give students real-world experience and valuable skills for the future. A full-time Work-Based Learning Coordinator helps students find internships, apprenticeships, and opportunities with local professionals. A dedicated College Advisor supports families through the entire college application process. For students who want to be academically challenged, we offer up to 10 Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Our school is known for being a safe and supportive community. We take pride in our students' character and the strong relationships built through events, field trips, and cultural celebrations. Outside the classroom, students can join a wide range of sports teams and after-school clubs; there's something for everyone. At Manhattan Bridges High School, your future begins here.
