Students' growth in understanding and thinking is assessed by in-depth projects. Students research, write, present and defend portfolios where they apply their learning of math, science, history, english, finance, and computer science in real-world contexts.

About the School

We offer a rigorous academic program for all students, including a four-year academic program in economics and finance with many Advanced Placement (AP) and CUNY College Now courses in all subject areas. Our diverse, welcoming community extends beyond our doors to corporate partners such as KPMG, Swapnick, Deutsche Bank, Etsy, and many more. Students have opportunities for job shadowing, internships and mentoring. Our full-time college advisement staff coordinates the college admissions process to make sure all of our students are being accepted to choice colleges. Students find enrichment in various athletics, civic, artistic, computer science and cultural programs and have access to our state-of-the-art library and technology center.

Academic Highlights: College Now: Earn up to 12 transferable credits for college, Advanced Placement for All, Computer Science for All, Eco Summer Experience: Four-week summer program for all incoming 9th graders
