About

We offer a rigorous academic opportunities for all students through our new ESTEEM program, combining economics, science, technology, engineering, entrepreneurship and mathematics. This includes many Advanced Placement (AP), CUNY College Now courses and dual enrollment college courses in all subject areas. Our diverse, welcoming community extends beyond our doors to corporate and community partners, including Trinity Commons. Students have opportunities for job shadowing, internships and mentoring. Our full-time college advisement staff coordinates the college admissions process to make sure all of our students are being accepted to choice colleges. Students find enrichment in various athletics, civic, artistic, computer science and cultural programs and have access to our state-of-the-art library and technology center.

Art
Our school works closely with CBO's to coordinate opportunities for students to experience the ARTS through residencies and fieldtrips. In addition, our own teachers run clubs and opportunities for students to work on the arts through various clubs. Students often see their work displayed around the building and enjoy engaging in arts related activities. This year in addition to our regular residencies, we partnered with Teatro SEA and Black Box Productions for theatre and photography.

Students' growth in understanding and thinking is assessed by in-depth projects. Students research, write, present and defend portfolios where they apply their learning of math, science, history, english, finance, and computer science in real-world contexts.
