Art
The High School for Environmental Studies (HSES) provides students with opportunities to engage in the arts throughout their high school studies. As a theme-based school which focuses on developing environmental stewards, we are proud to be able to provide our students with a Common Core aligned, well-rounded education that places a strong value on an arts education. In addition to offering our students beginning and advanced courses in music and theater, we offer media arts, ceramics, painting and drawing. HSES is a culturally rich community that enjoys a great deal of student involvement in our arts program. Our teachers are dedicated to providing our students with meaningful experiences and exposure to a wide array of art forms, including environmentally themed arts projects.
