Arts Summary
The Micheal J. Petrides School provides a rich and rigorous arts program, including course offerings and opportunities for student experiences in all arts disciplines (dance, film, music, theater, visual arts). Our well-planned and sequenced program allows students in grades PreK-12 to sample all arts disciplines and select an area of concentration to develop their talent and skill. Teachers collaborate to create chances for students to engage cross-curricula arts and cultural events.

The Petrides Advanced Placement and Honors Program is a dynamic initiative designed to elevate academic rigor, promote college and career readiness, and foster a culture of academic excellence among high-achieving students. Students that are accepted and enrolled in this program will begin taking AP classes in 10th grade.
