About

Leaders High School is a NYC Outward Bound school that engages students with innovative teaching and hands-on learning experiences. We are a strong, supportive, and inclusive community where students are challenged to think deeply and step outside of their comfort zones to excel. As a member of the NY Performance Standards Consortium, our students complete in-depth analytical papers and projects as their graduation requirement that allow them to dive deeply into a topic of their choice and creatively present and defend their ideas. We are also a FutureReadyNYC school offering the best of college and career exploration and preparation with a special focus on Business & Entrepreneurship. Our students explore a wide range of careers and have the opportunity to participate in exciting internships, paid work-based learning, and earn early college credits. All of our students are part of a crew, a small, tight-knit, group with an advisor providing ongoing support throughout all four years of high school. Through all of these experiences, students learn to embody our four core values of leading, learning, contributing, and exploring.
