About

At UASCH, we prepare students for college and careers with a broad and deep focus on unique healthcare sectors. Coursework is as challenging as it is supportive with a strong emphasis on cross-curricular and project-based learning. As a member of the highly successful Urban Assembly network, UASCH has established partnerships with top-tier healthcare facilities that work in order to bring timely healthcare topics into the classroom and expose students to modern healthcare facilities. In addition, it is possible for students to pursue off-site educational opportunities in the 12th grade. UASCH values parents as partners and cultivates a strong school-parent relationship. We are part of the Career Readiness and Modern Youth Apprenticeship (CRMYA) pilot, which helps us support career readiness for all our students. We have courses that help our ninth and tenth graders explore their career interests and develop readiness skills. Our students can apply for apprenticeships in tech, finance, and business, which allows them to earn and learn while in high school.
