Our school focuses on College & Career Readiness and Performing Arts. We believe in giving back to our community through serving those that may be less fortunate. We serve children through mentoring, paid internships, musical performances, tutoring, food drives, clothing drives for families, project-based learning initiatives and we partner with local businesses and nonprofit organizations.

Ed. Opt. programs admit students across all academic levels. Students are grouped into Low, Middle, and High categories based on a composite of their academic data. One-third of offers are made to students in each category.

EBC High School for Public Service-Bushwick is a small school and we have a dress code. We focus on individual excellence, high academic standards and service to the community. We have an educational culture that instills respect, self-discipline, and strong intellectual values. At EBC, students are supported by our staff through an Advisory Program. Students, staff and parent(s)/guardian(s) thrive in a school that provides them access to college courses (on campus and off-campus), guitar and instrumental music. Students are college & career ready for life after high school because we nurture and empower our students to serve as tomorrow's leaders today!
