Performing Arts
As the specially selected 'Chancellor's Arts Designated High School' for Staten Island, dance students are eligible to receive a special Chancellor's Endorsed Arts Diploma. The dance program is a comprehensive course of study that includes training in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Horton Technique, and Limon Technique.

About the School
Susan E. Wagner High School consists of unique small learning communities referred to as Learning Centers, and is the Chancellor's Arts Designated School for Staten Island. Each Learning Center has an assigned assistant principal, teacher coordinator, guidance counselor, dean, and attendance assistant, all of whom work together to provide a nurturing environment and a wide range of academic support services. In addition to our academic programs, our many extracurricular and co-curricular activities help to develop well-rounded, socially conscious, respectful citizens who are prepared to enter college and the work force.
