About
In partnership with the International Network for Public Schools, Queens International 6-12 will serve newly arrived multilingual learners and their families. The proposed 6-12 school's mission is to leverage students diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds to create a collaborative, academically stimulating, and nurturing community that prepares students for postsecondary success. To support college and career readiness, students will have the opportunity to participate in AP language classes, CUNY College Now courses and National Ed Equity College classes. While 11th grade students will have a credit-bearing internship, 9th and 10th grade students will have classes where they explore career interests and develop readiness skills. Our students can apply for apprenticeships in tech, finance, and business, which allows them to earn and learn while in high school.
