Architecture
The 4-year course work enables students to work in architectural or building construction related jobs, or continue toward an advanced degree in the field. Students explore industry levels of mastery in AutoCAD, 3-D Modeling and printing, and Revit. Graduates find employment in related industries such as building engineering, construction, code enforcement, materials manufacturing, and residential design/build contracting.

About the School
Bronx Design and Construction Academy is a Career and Technical Education high school that offers rigorous instruction that prepares students for entry into the competitive construction trades and post-secondary education. The skills students learn through their CTE coursework are applicable throughout the construction industry. NYS approved programs include Carpentry, Plumbing, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technologies, Electrical Engineering, and Architectural Engineering. As a collaborative community, we ensure our students are prepared for both direct entry into construction fields and college upon completion of high school.
