About

NEST+m is a Citywide Gifted & Talented K-12 public school that offers an accelerated and intellectually engaging education grounded in our core values, intellectualism, inclusivity, collaboration, and exploration, and our connected commitments to equity, social emotional learning, and social justice. We cultivate a challenging and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to think critically, learn collaboratively, and act ethically, growing into thoughtful scholars and compassionate changemakers. Through a rich and complex curriculum, students develop strong academic mindsets and metacognitive skills while engaging deeply in the sciences, humanities, arts, and mathematics. We foster a strong sense of belonging for all students and believe each of them plays an important role in building and sustaining our community. In our full-inclusion model, general education and special education students learn together in a collaborative environment that builds on individual strengths, celebrates neurodiversity, and ensures that each child is both challenged and supported according to their needs. From early elementary through high school, students blossom into scientists, engineers, writers, historians, musicians, linguists, and artists, prepared not only for academic achievement but for lives of purpose and impact. With extensive opportunities for clubs, enrichment, internships, independent research, and real-world exploration, NEST+m nurtures curiosity beyond the classroom. Students play an active role in shaping the direction of our school through their ideas, leadership, and engagement, helping us build a dynamic community committed to a more just and equitable future.
