Software Engineering and Game Design (Q53K) (Q53K)
Engineering

Our Software Engineering program is a computer science-based program that includes exploration of art, design, animation and code for game development. We use the Unity3D game engine as the platform for video games. Students are taught how to use the Unity editor and program in C# thereby preparing them for careers not just in Video Game development, but also in Computer Science. Courses teach design thinking, programming languages such as Java, Python, design using HTML and JavaScript; as well as areas like game design, data structures and cybersecurity. Students are engaged in critical game analysis and systems thinking. We use industry-standard animation and game production tools in order for students to become art and design professionals.
