Electrical Installation Technologies (Q67N)
Engineering

Preparation for careers in electrical & solar technology. With a major focus on hands on instruction, this program prepares students with a focus on low voltage systems, residential wiring, motors/motor controls, and solar technology. Exposure to careers in all areas of electrical & solar technology. Industry certification (OSHA, NCCER, and Energy Management). About the School

The mission of Thomas A. Edison Career & Technical Education High School is to develop leaders of tomorrow by preparing all students to meet the high academic, technical, civic, and workforce challenges of the twenty-first century. We believe that strong leadership throughout our united community of faculty members, students, parents, and associates will move us towards the following goals: academic rigor, pathways for college and career readiness, and continual school improvement. We are part of the Career Readiness and Modern Youth Apprenticeship (CRMYA) pilot, which helps us support career readiness for all our students. We have courses that help our ninth and tenth graders explore their career interests and develop readiness skills. Our students can apply for apprenticeships in tech, finance, and business, which allows them to earn and learn while in high school.
