Humanities & Interdisciplinary
All students experience IB coursework that emphasize problem-solving and collaboration through project-based learning. Students complete capstone projects: Personal Project, Extended Essay, and Creativity, Activity and Service Learning project, and IB Internal Assessments. Students meet in advisory groups for social-emotional and academic support, and community building.

About the School
The Boerum Hill School for International Studies is an authorized International Baccalaureate authorized school with the Middle Years Program (MYP) and Diploma Program (DP). As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, we are committed to the IB mission of developing international-minded students who are empowered to take risks and develop innovative solutions that create a better and more peaceful world.
