Humanities & Interdisciplinary
All scholars have the opportunity to take IB-level courses in all subjects. To earn an IB Diploma, scholars complete 150 hours of community service and a 4,000-word research paper in addition to taking IB exams. All courses are enhanced by an Experiential Learning focus which provides a real-world application of classroom learning. Additionally, performing and visual arts courses are available for both beginners and experienced artists and performers.

About the School
KAPPA International is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School. KAPPA believes strongly in providing students with authentic, experiential learning opportunities, where students learn critical thinking skills as they apply their learning to real-world problems. This includes a week long intensive where students choose an area of focus, from Forensic Science to Culinary Arts. Students are also assigned an advisory program (Crew) which provides support in social-emotional learning as well as college & career planning. Students participate in internships with organizations such as NYU, AMNH & ACE Mentorship. To complement classroom learning, scholars are annually offered the opportunity to travel.
