Liberal Arts Academy (M23B)
Humanities & Interdisciplinary

Participation in a general elective program that provides a series of elective classes, career exploration, internships, and externships for students. There is an extensive range of corporate/start-up internships including summer paid internships.

About the School

Our school is centrally located in a historic building overlooking Bowling Green, Battery Park, and New York Harbor. Students enroll in either the Teaching Academy or the Liberal Arts Academy. Our Teaching Academy develops students with a lasting commitment to education who participate in offsite internships in neighboring schools. Our Liberal Arts Academy develops students as mentors, and offers a range of engaging electives that build transferrable skills. This learning community has a rich array of college preparatory programs as well as extracurricular activities determined by student interests.
