Capstone Scholars (M66I)
Performing Arts/Visual Art & Design

Our Capstone Scholars program serves academically inclined students who are committed to engaging with challenging curricula beyond the core academic requirements for graduation. These learners should welcome student centered discourse, and embrace the opportunity to engage in a productive struggle in furtherance of learning. Students begin considering the college process in grade 9 with college trips, college and career counseling and advisory. Students in our Capstone Scholars program will also choose between theater arts and visual arts as a four year sequence of creative expression.

Students are admitted based on a school-based assessment, and in some cases also their course grades.
  • (Group 1) Open to New York City residents
