Whether discovering new cancer treatments or teaching healthy lifestyle choices, today's biomedical science professionals are tackling big challenges to make the world a better place. Our Biomedical Science students, through Project Lead the Way courses, are taking on these same real-world challenges while still in high school. Students engage in compelling, hands-on activities and work together to find solutions to problems using the same tools used by professionals in hospitals and labs.

About the School
At the New Cobble Hill, our vision is to know and empower our students as individuals so they will reach their maximum potential, make informed choices, and create meaningful lives. Through our programs and partnerships, our four-year sequence in Pre-Law, our four-year sequence in Biomedical Sciences, our AVID focus empowering students with the college-readiness skills necessary for the 21st Century, and our CUNY College Now courses, students explore career options and areas of interest in a learning community that values achievement in character, culture, and academics. Our students graduate with as strong knowledge of self, active participants in their learning, excellent decision-making skills, pride in work and achievement, and a strong ability to advocate for themselves and others. Cobble Hill Students actively participate in our vibrant after-school program. Our After school program offers an array of clubs and teams that spark the passions and interests of our students. Some include Step Team, Dance Team, PSAL Boy's Varsity and Junior Varsity Basketball, Girls Varsity Basketball, Mock Trial/Moot Court Team, Drumline, Art Club, Soccer Club, Student Government, ESports, MBk & MSK Chapters, Opening Act Off Broadway Mentorship Program, Peer Leaders, Internships, Restorative Justice, Culinary Club, Chess Club, LGTBQ+ club, and many more. Our Goal is to elevate their learning, while sparking their interests beyond the classroom. Our belief in extending student learning beyond the confines of a classroom guides us to ensure that school trips are a regular part of the class experience. Our students get to experience trips to Washington DC., Virginia, Massachusetts, as well as College trips beyond the tri-state area.
