About

Our School's Mission is to 'Engage Minds, Develop Leaders, and Explore Possibilities.' Our goal is to ensure we meet students at their level and improve their academic skills with rigorous curriculum to be college and career ready by graduation. This is underscored by supporting students' social and emotional development where they can thrive in "life beyond high school" and find their sense of purpose and place in the community and world. We aim to build relationships and offer individualized educational opportunities that develop our students into leaders able to achieve their fullest potential in college and careers. In order to model the professionalism we believe essential for our students' success, all students at BLA II wear a school uniform. We are part of the Career Readiness and Modern Youth Apprenticeship (CRMYA) and Future Ready Programs which support career readiness for all our students. We have courses that help our ninth and tenth graders explore their career interests and develop readiness skills. Our students can apply for apprenticeships in tech, finance, and business, which allow them to earn and learn while in high school. We are part of the Career Readiness and Modern Youth Apprenticeship (CRMYA) pilot, which helps us support career readiness for all our students. We have courses that help our ninth and tenth graders explore their career interests and develop readiness skills. Our students can apply for apprenticeships in tech, finance, and business, which allows them to earn and learn while in high school.
