The IB Diploma Program offers students a unique, rigorous curriculum in Humanities and STEM-related fields authorized by the IB Organization. All students are expected to achieve an Advanced Regents Diploma and will also take numerous AP courses in addition to their seven required IB courses.

About the School
Curtis High School is a Community School whose mission statement declares: "Curtis will be a nurturing community where all of its members will have the desire and opportunity to achieve their fullest potential." Curtis continually seeks to provide academic, extracurricular, social-emotional, and health and wellness services that are comprehensive, coordinated, and responsive to the evolving needs of our community. Curtis consists of small learning communities (houses) giving students and faculty the opportunity to teach and learn with a more personalized approach. All students, supported by our faculty and a wealth of community partnerships and resources, pursue curricula that challenge and prepare them for a world beyond Curtis.
