A.C.A. is a vibrant community of young artists and their teachers.This program offers talented writers and actors opportunities to explore their gifts through creative and academic writing courses, workshops, literary experiences, drama, and performance.

About the School

John Bowne High School is a welcoming multicultural school community. All community members build on their diversity through collaborative action and global awareness. Students are empowered by developing critical thinking, social, and emotional skills and by pursuing life with a passion for constructing knowledge in the areas of S.T.E.M., humanities, sports and the arts. All students participate in one of the following majors: S.T.E.M. Law Institute, Animal/Plant Agriscience Institute (Agriculture), Academy for Creative Artists, Computer Science Institute, Visual Arts Institute, or Health and Nutrition Science. All students are also eligible for our Air Force J.R.O.T.C. Program.
